The whole world is turning into a single huge market,and local government is
    taking a leading role in this age of cultural,scientific,and technological
    development.This follows the world stream where such strategic businesses as
    high-tech,culture and tourism are the global standard.

    Perceiving this world stream,Gyeonggi Province is determined to develop as the
    key point of knowledge-based industry in Korea in order to become a leader in
    the Northeast Asian economy.

    It is also planning to elevate its status as the home of world-renowned culture
    and tourism to an even higher level through the numerous cultural assets and
    tourism resources that come from 1,000 years of history as the capital of the
    Korean Peninsula.
